Ladder Melbourne launched
Ladder, the innovative partnership between the AFL Players' Association and the AFL Foundation created to tackle youth homelessness is pleased to announce the launch of it's Melbourne facility.
Alongside major partner the Victorian Government Department of Human Services, housing partner Yarra Community Housing and service partner Melbourne Citymission, Ladder will provide young people with histories of homelessness a living environment that integrates accommodation, social and emotional support, and training opportunities that aim to make a lasting impact on their lives.
AFL Players and elite female athletes will be involved in many aspects of Ladder, most importantly playing key mentoring roles for the young people involved in the program.
