Advanced selling skills workshop
The AFLPA continues to service the diverse needs of its membership with the delivery of Advanced Sales Skills Workshops across the country.
Via our research it was identified that many of our members gain employment in sales positions after they exit the AFL system.
To meet this need the AFLPA successfully trialled the ‘Advanced Sales Skills Workshop’ in 2008. Earlier this month Dan Lima of Road Scholars facilitated the same program in Perth and Adelaide for a number of AFLPA members.
Again the feedback was first class, ‘…excellent…I gained a lot from the workshop… and… definitely worth doing…’ were among the comments made by attendees.
The workshop aims at teaching key selling skills and exploring how traditional approaches to selling have over time become less effective and the reasons for this. Furthermore it investigates new insights into how a sales person or representative can better go about consistently meeting the customers’ needs and ultimately make the sale.
The program is designed for individuals wishing to develop broad selling skills that can be readily applied in any industry and transferred to other industries or markets over time.
Program Goal
Teach candidates to sell any product effectively to customers in their chosen market.
It is planned to deliver the ‘Advanced Sales Skills Workshop’ in Melbourne later in April.
