2010 Education & Training Grant Application Forms

The AFL Players’ Association provides funding towards the accredited study of all current player AFLPA members.
There are three rounds of funding per year, including:
Round 1 Full Year Round Closing date for applications Friday 12th February 2010
Round 2 Half Year Round Closing date for applications Friday 9th July 2010
Round 3 Miscellaneous Round Closing date for applications Friday 22nd November 2010
Important Information
If you have previously studied at university you MUST submit previous years transcript of results. If you fail to do so, your application will not be accepted. The AFLPA no longer pays your university invoice fees direct to the institution. A player will receive full reimbursement upon submitting paid receipts to the AFLPA. Should a player be in financial difficulty in paying fees, contact the AFLPA to discuss alternative payment procedures. The AFLPA WILL NOT pay university fees once deferred to the ATO (HECS/PELS). It is your responsibility to pay the invoice before the HECS/PELS census date.
Funding Guidelines
University course $2000 - $3000
TAFE course $500 - $1500
Certificate I,II, III, IV $750 - $1000
Short Course $500
Professional Qualification $1000
Year 12 $3500
These figures are a reference only. Funding for grants are at the complete discretion of the AFLPA E&T Account Board.
